❥My Review: Alternate points of views type of books are my FAVORITE! This book was so enjoyable, emotional, and so real. We meet Vivi, a wild spirit, so open and outgoing, a true artist in love with fashion, who also holds a dark past experience that she can’t seem to forget no matter how happy she may look. We also meet Jonah, who is trying to survive everyday since his dad passed away 6 months ago, he among his two older siblings try to hold their home together in a family of seven.
The story itself I felt was very original and it touched real subjects, such as depression, bipolar disorder, death in the family, among other important topics. We meet so many wonderful people that as a reader you wish you knew personally. The characters were so well described and I had no trouble following along even with so many characters.
The Love that Vivi and Jonah develop is so captivating, because even though they are like night and day, they compliment each other so well, and they unknowingly help each other through one of the toughest summers they each have ever had. It is a wonderful read from beginning to end, and I also want to mention that one of my favorite characters was Ellie.. I want to read all about her! Emery please write a book all about Ellie, she was super friendly, helpful, smart, and so hard working through the entire story!
